Cloudflare Manager - User Guide
Introduction
Cloudflare Manager allows you to manage important Cloudflare settings directly from your HostMalabar Client Area without logging in to Cloudflare separately.
To access Cloudflare Manager:
Client Area → Domains → Cloudflare Manager
Only active domains associated with your account will be displayed.
Domain Overview
Select a domain from the Cloudflare Manager dashboard to view:

Security & Performance Settings
DNS Management
DNS Management allows you to control your domain's DNS records.
View DNS Records
You can view all existing DNS records including:

A Records
-
AAAA Records
-
CNAME Records
-
MX Records
-
TXT Records
Add DNS Records
-
Open DNS Management
-
Select Record Type
-
Enter Record Name
-
Enter Record Content
-
Click Add
Delete DNS Records
-
Locate the DNS record
-
Click Delete
-
Confirm deletion
Warning: Deleting DNS records may affect website or email functionality.
SSL Management
SSL Settings allow you to control how Cloudflare connects visitors to your website.
SSL Modes
Off
No SSL encryption.
Flexible
Encrypts traffic between visitor and Cloudflare.
Full
Requires an SSL certificate on the origin server.
Full (Strict)
Requires a valid SSL certificate on the origin server.
Always Use HTTPS
When enabled, all HTTP requests are automatically redirected to HTTPS.
Recommended: Enabled
Automatic HTTPS Rewrites
Automatically fixes mixed-content issues on websites.
Recommended: Enabled
Cache Management
Cloudflare caches website content for faster loading.
Purge Cache
Use this option when:

Website changes are not visible
-
CSS changes are not updating
-
Images are not refreshing
-
Website appears outdated
Click Purge Cache to instantly clear Cloudflare cache.
DNSSEC Management
DNSSEC helps protect your domain against DNS spoofing and tampering.
Enable DNSSEC

Open DNSSEC Management
-
Click Enable DNSSEC
After enabling DNSSEC, your registrar may require DNSSEC records to be added.
Development Mode
Development Mode temporarily bypasses Cloudflare cache.
When to Use
Enable Development Mode when:

Updating website files
-
Editing CSS
-
Modifying website design
-
Testing website changes
Important
Development Mode should only be enabled during website development and testing.
Disable it once your changes are complete.
Under Attack Mode
Under Attack Mode provides additional protection against attacks and suspicious traffic.
When to Enable
Enable Under Attack Mode when:

Experiencing DDoS attacks
-
Receiving abnormal traffic spikes
-
Facing excessive bot activity
-
Website resources are under heavy load
What Happens
Visitors may see a short security verification page before accessing your website.
This helps block malicious traffic and protect your server.
Security Recommendations
For most websites, we recommend:

SSL Mode: Full (Strict)

Always Use HTTPS: Enabled
-
Automatic HTTPS Rewrites: Enabled
-
DNSSEC: Enabled
-
Development Mode: Disabled (unless actively developing)
-
Under Attack Mode: Disabled (enable only when required)
